Bagel Bob's

After a trip to NY where I ate bagels almost daily I came back and was determined to find a good bagel spot in Houston that's not a franchise. Luckily I found bagel bob's and it has not disappointed. I usually come on the weekdays because they sometimes sell out of some of the bagels on weekends. I usually go for their smoked salmon bagel but I've also had their egg and bacon which is really good too. The bagels are flavorful and toasted perfectly with a nice bite.

In addition to their good food the service is also always great. Bagel bobs is a small local business that I love supporting!

Final made it to Bagel Bob's a couple of days ago. I'd been reading and hearing about how good Bagel Bob's bagels were, but we live in Spring Valley, and I always picked up breakfast "breads" from Shipley or Kolache Factory as they were much closer. So, when passed Bagel Bob's Thursday morning I decided to give them a try. Having lived in Sugar Land until about 18 years ago I was BIG Bagel Express fan and thought I could find no better, but Bob proved me wrong. d

Bought a variety of what's offered, Jalapeno Cheese, Everything, Cinnamon, Rye, and plain. The Jalapeno Cheese were OUTSTANDING, four jalapeno slices on thick bagel with cheese baked into the top of the bagel. I eat very spicy foods and I wasn't expecting Bob's Jalapeno to be spicy, but it was, it had a nice little kick to it, just enough to satisfy the heat lovers and the faint hearted as well. The other bagels were excellent; my second favorite was the Everything. As well as have fantastic flavor they had the perfect texture.

A trip to Bob's is worth the drive. Meeting and visiting with Bob you'll quickly learn the passion that he puts into his "masterpieces". To put it mildly, he's a character and you'll enjoy meeting him.

Truly some of the best bagels in the city! A bit of a hole in the wall place, but worth the drive. Service was great and fast, get here early on a weekend because they start to run out. Grab and go place only, they don't really have anywhere to eat inside.

Highly rec the lox with everything on an everything bagel, fresh lox with thick cream cheese, and the bagel was chewy and soft.

Yall know how some places say there is garlic on their bagels but then there really isn't? THIS PLACE HAS THE GARLIC FOR SURE.

Greeted by all 3 employees as soon as we walked in. And the girl there took our order right away. I ordered bacon egg and cheese on an everything bagel, my dad got the turkey sausage egg and cheese on a garlic salt bagel. I practically inhaled mine it was delicious. It was everything i wanted in an everything bagel. Got a bite of my dad's bagel as well and that was super delicious as well. He's already told me that anytime I pass by here that I need to pick up that same order for him again. Orders are made fresh, so we waited maybe 2 or 3 minutes? Not sure but it was quick and no complaints about it.

They don't have any tables. But they have 2 chairs in case you want to sit there while waiting for your order or to eat. The place is kept super clean, we saw employees cleaning as we were walking in actually.

I love bagels but it's tough finding a place that does bagels right in houston. Ive passed this place a couple times now and I figured I would give it a shot. This was hands down the best bagel I've had outside of New York.
I got the bacon, egg & cheese with the everything bagel and it was so delicious. So glad I stopped by. The service was very kind and fast. Can't wait to bring my family here!

I was looking for a good bagel shop in houston after getting back from NY. I found it in Bagel Bob's! When I arrived i was quickly greeted by the staff behind the counter including Bob, himself. The ambiance is a typical bagel shop and don't let the strip shopping center stop you this a truly a neighborhood gem! Service was great and in order half dozen bagels and a breakfast sandwich. when they handed me the bag i had flash backs to NY how heavy the bag was. Right then and there i knew these bagels were going to be delicious. The breakfast sandwich came and i ordered it with a plain bagel with bacon egg and cheese. The sandwich was awesome and they have me a regular customer.

No frills, simple ordering, fair pricing and Great Bagels. Bob's doing business the right way. Keep it up!

Best authentic NY bagels in Houston! They have great service and are quick with the orders. It's a pick up and go kind of place so people are always in and out. It's got a NY neighborhood mom and pop shop vibes and authenticity written all over the place.

My go to:
-Lox sandwich on an everything bagel with scallion cream cheese and all the fixings!
-Blueberry bagel with strawberry cream cheese

There's a small discount if you pay cash.

The best bagel I've had so far in Houston. I'm no bagel supremist, but at Bagel Bob's it's the closest you'll get to NYC. Lots of options between bagel flavors and sandwich types. Several options for drinks and chips to pair. Overall good prices as well. My only issue was that some of the ratios were a bit off. I would've loved more schmear on my lox sandwich, and the BEC should have move egg and cheese, less bacon. That's something they could easily fix if I just asked, so I'll definitely be coming back.
