A great cozy & small Indonesian restaurant!
There aren't too many Indonesian restaurants in the Bay Area so it's always great to have some down in SoCal. Great menu variety, and the dishes I've tried here all satisfy my cravings.
I've had the sate ayam, risoles, mie ayam, gado gado, and nasi empal. Great portion sizes and prices as well. Sate was very flavorful and tender, and the peanut sauce it came with was amazing.
It is a small business and can get pretty busy during peak meal times, so don't be surprised if there is a bit of a wait for your food.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Dec 16, 2023
I am glad to see an Indonesian restaurant finally open near by or in the Inland Empire area.
A small restaurant that offers great variety of dishes.
The place itself is clean and well lit.
Bathroom door tend to get stuck.
So, anyone uses the bathroom, might have to use force to open the door.
Service:
Friendly and accommodating.
They do not have enough people to serve or host.
Thus, service is slow and when there are lots of customers, there bound to have few confuses on who orders what and which tables.
Foods:
Taste average.
Need a bit of oomph or umami or oishii.
The next Indonesian restaurant is about 30 min away. So for customers who live in the Inland Empire San Bernardino area and Redlands, this will do.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Junaidi A.Pico Rivera, CA11518Mar 20, 2024
The food is good, i like the padang and mie ayam. The service is good and friendly. The place is clean and spacious. It's big enough for parties. They have a lot of Indonesian food. Their price is affordable.
Must try the menu!! :)Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Carlo D.Moreno Valley, CA6228291Mar 20, 2024
My wife got the Soto Betawi and I got the Nasi Bungkus Padang. The food was great and made fresh. My wife's only complaint was she wished the portion size of the soup was more. Food and service is great. They also have a small selection of packaged Indonesian products, which my wife ended up getting some peanut snacks and loved it. Definitely worth a stop since there aren't many Indonesian places around.

Nice little spot for your indonesian food & snacks cravings. Most of the packaged items for snacks & goodies didn't have price tags so it's a guessing game (most ended up being reasonable prices) You can shop at the market while waiting for your food to come out. The hostess/cashier mixed up our ticket with the table next to ours so just be aware of what you pay for!

I've been craving Indonesian food and finally found a hidden gem tucked in the corner of the plaza! Attentive staff, good food, and great price all in one! We came here 30 minutes before they close, and they willing to accept us to dine-in.
Food: 5/5
Staff: 5/5
Ambiance: 4/5
Price: $ ($10-$13)
Batagor: This is the closest to the one I remember back in Indonesia. It was tasty, crispy and plenty! I had to say we could use more peanut sauce. Other than that it was great!
Fried Rice: Easily one of my favorite dish out of the four. Definitely will come back for this one only!
Ayam Penyet: Second best dish! The chicken was tender and you can taste all of the spice. And if you like spicy, the sambal (hot sauce) is definitely a great complement to the overall dish.
Mie Tek Tek: To say the least, it is not my favorite, but it's good. No complaint there. I would definitely switch up with so many other dishes on the menu.
I will comeback to try other dishes. 5/5 will recommend to my friends.Helpful 4Thanks 0Love this 3Oh no 0 - Marcus A.Fullerton, CA11138Jul 20, 2023
Great place for Indonesian food. I love the small business aspect where they have local ingredients, snacks, and even baked desserts for later.
The ambience feels like your in a friends house and they bring you a home cooked Indonesian meal. I got the chicken sate, which is chicken skewers with rice and peanut sauce. The sweet flavor of the chicken and the salty peanut sauce give a nice blend of salty/sweet.
I recommend trying their mixed dishes where they put it in a banana leaf. The flavors mix really well and the other dishes compliment each other. Indonesian is known for their spices and will definitely make you want to get more.
Great service by the the servers and workers.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Ivana H.Pensacola, FL022Dec 23, 2023
Food is 10/10, service is 8/10 because they don't really check on your table, Ambiance is 7/10 they don't have bathroom inside.

One of my favorite little restaurants in the Inland Empire. After a trip I got addicted to Indonesian food which I had never had and searched my area for anything comparable. Nestled in the corner of a mini mall in Grand Terrace you could miss it if you blink. Amazing noodle and rice dishes familiar of classic Asian food yet different but so flavorful. #19 & #20 are so authentic to what I experienced in Bali are my favorite but everything is delicious. Worth driving 20 miles round trip a couple times a month to get my fix. Also the sweetest staff!
