Papa J's Lechon

I just used Yelp and found a gem. This is it if you're craving flavorful succulent PORK BeLLY with crispy skin. No Chinese version of the roasted pig can beat this one. Bryan was so nice.
It was a last minute decision for what to put on our 2023 Christmas table. Usually we have the Ham or Roasted Chicken or big fish like Chilean Sea Bass. For the 1st time I went for the LECHON CebuCHON to be exact.

Papa j's did NOT disappoint. We were so happy. Even after a couple of days it was still good. Just reheat in oven to get that skin crispy again and heat up the inside.

Well made. They stitched the belly inside and not even outside like you normally would see! Way to go Bryan! Papa J's all the way.

We had a party with over 50 ppl and the star of the show was our Lechon Roast Pig. The quality of the meat was excellent, very moist with a crunchy skin.
Transaction was done entirely via text/Zelle and very easy. The Lechon was packaged nicely for transport and pick up was very easy.

Best lechon in SoCal. All my guests said the same thing. The inside was warm all afternoon. Skin crispy all day. Highly recommended. Dont buy anywhere else.

There's a reason this place has the highest rating out of all the other Lechon spots.
We picked up a perfect -crispy on the outside, tender on the inside- roasted pig on Christmas Day and it was a hit at our party. Definitely will buy from Papa J's again.

If you're looking for a whole cooked pig. Look no further. Great communication and service. 70lbs fed the party of 25-30 people and had leftovers. Crispy skin and the rest was delicious. Thank you Papa J's.

What a great find and so close to home! My husband's sibings bought this for his 50th bday celebration last night. They live in West Covina and were loyal customers for years to one store. Due to the staff being rude to them this time when they tried to order, they decided to bring their business elsewhere. The staff here are very nice. Delivery was even early 30 min and it was raining. Being Chinese myself, we dont like any part of the pig burnt...tips of ears..tails etc. I know this can't be helped in the cooking process, but this pig came out perfect! Nit a burnt end anywhere!!! Crispy on the outside and the meat was nice and tender and juicy. Why 4 and not 5 star? The price is expensive but not really for what you get, but not everyone can aford $370 for a 70lb pig. I think to better share their fabulous cooking skills, they should go back to offerring smaller size pigs so it can be more affordable and enjoyed by more families. Sadly in this economy, this eliminates alot of families . I know they offer pork belly rolls ehich are smaller, but not the same as a whole pig. I usually get my roast pigs for my celebrations at a Chinese bbq place but this pig is far superior in the way it was cooked. Certainly the customer service is much better here. My hesitation in ordering from this place for my family is again..the size. My husband's side of the family is way bigger than mine. Again..no hesitation to recc this place to others except I would think twice knowing what i know about the limited sizes of the pigs offered.

Just ordered a lechon for our son's 2nd birthday party! It was delicious! It was cooked well and extremely crispy. Their pricing is definitely one of the more affordable. We called multiple locations and they had the best deal!
