Great American International Seafood Market

Always fresh and a great place for anything seafood. I always get the smoked candy salmon nuggets - they are to die for. I also love their salads ! Chinese chicken salad is a must have.

Don't forget they have cookies as well!

And their service is 10/10.

Update- this market just gets better and better! Met two new employees (shout out to Chris- such a nice guy!) saw some of my favorite staff members, and sampled the krabby salad (dang it's good!) Looking forward to the crab cakes I got for a simple dinner, and trying a delicious looking piece of salmon stuffed with spinach and feta! It's awesome that they have some chef created options for those days when you are just exhausted. See y'all again soon

This shop is a must stop when I'm in the Palos Verdes area. Small, well curated market and everything I've had from here was good. Their Caesar salad is maybe the best I've ever had and pairs nicely with the shrimp cocktail. Their sauces and dressings are made in house and are delicious! Also, the staff is always friendly and accommodating.

Coming back here to say truly thank you for such great quality fish and an excellent staff. This is a weekly stop to pick up fish. Everytime we visit the fish looks gorgeous, it's consistently fresh, and there's a large variety. This is a must stop for all your cooking needs while supporting a small business. The rest of the shop has great international items to purchase too! This is our go to for buying pasta!

Such friendly service and wide assortment. I'd be here more often if I lived here. Their fresh fish selection was amazing.

This is seriously the best place to shop for seafood in San Pedro and Palos Verdes! The place is always clean and filled with the yummiest seafood options. I have loved everything I have sampled and purchased from there -esp the salmon steaks and the salmon nuggets. Don't be shy and ask to sample the salmon nuggets, esp the pastrami flavored one. The store staff are so confident that you will love it that they will naturally give you a sample.
They also offer salads -great for a quick and light lunch. Don't even bother asking about the salmon ceasar salad -I tried. The salmon recipe is a top secret that will not be shared. It is so tasty!

Be sure to always get a receipt with your purchase. Human error is always possible and the only way to correct a wrong is to always have a receipt.

Nestled into a small mall in the peninsula of Palos Verdes Estates is the great American international seafood store. They sell all manner of seafood and the it is absolutely top notch. I went there today for King crab legs and WOW. They were huuuge....4 legs / three pounds....the various shrimp in the case are also amazingly huge and fresh. And fresh IS THE NAME OF THE GAME .... which hen it comes to seafood and this place nails it. There are a variety of pastas and sauces to prepare your fresh seafood or there is a large variety of some frozen selections as well. The crab cakes are KILLER. But those crab legs were the star of the show. They have a nice little wine selection too. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly, handing out sample where appropriate. My family was blown away by the freshness of all the food we brought home today and they say ... Go here, grab fresh seafood and cook it up at home.

I heard about this place so many times. Finally got a chance to see what the buzz was about. Thought this place was going to be a big place, but when we walked in, it was a small cute place. This place has all sorts of seafood, fish, Italian items, and other items. We picked up some oysters and shrimp and snow leg platter. The workers greet you and is helpful. Will try some other items net time I go again.

Awesome little market!!! Greatest service and people! I usually just go to Starbucks and Trader Joe's, but was meeting a friend and ended up parking by this fish market. Curiosity killed the cat! Friend and I went in there to browse, but ended up buying a few things. Then decided we were going back the next day because another friend was in a two day tournament and we were coming back to. This time we planned a picnic and bought a dozen oysters. 1.99 ea. Better than other seafood stores! Shrimp cocktail with some king "Krab". Honey roasted smoke salmon, jalapeño tuna salad, and cannolis, But the BEST item ever was canned cockles in brine. What a find! We took all this and some other stuff from Trader Joe's and drove to the park overlooking the ocean. Will do this again!
